I often found small town struggling with traffic. Particularly at bridges. It cannot be helped small cities have to make small bridges at max one or two bridges with 4 lane. However this does not solve the problem as every month sees rise in vehicle approx in thousands.
I have also observed successful conduction of “Maha Kumbh ” in Prayagraj. To address large no. of people government employs floating bridges on the river Ganga. Maybe this will solve the problem in small towns where local admnistration can install numerous balloon bridges on the river at small intervals. These ballons should especially be constructed to withstand load of 2 wheelers. Care should be taken to do baricadding which only 2 wheelers can cross. So normal 2 wheeler driving people will have alternate root. This will reduce traffic load on main roads as well as 4 lane bridges.
